SPIRO is Hiring: Fraud Detection Manager Join Africa’s Leading Electric Mobility Company

SPIRO is looking for a highly skilled and analytical Fraud Detection Manager to lead fraud prevention initiatives across our fast-growing energy swap and electric mobility platforms.

In this role, you will spearhead efforts to uncover, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activities while helping protect revenue, strengthen operational integrity, and build customer trust across multiple African markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement fraud detection and prevention frameworks
• Monitor transactions and operational activities for suspicious behavior
• Conduct fraud investigations and incident response activities
• Analyze large datasets to identify fraud patterns and emerging risks
• Collaborate with technology, operations, compliance, and finance teams
• Develop fraud monitoring dashboards and reporting systems
• Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce vulnerabilities
• Ensure adherence to internal risk management and compliance standards

Requirements

• Experience in fraud detection, risk management, compliance, or investigations
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Experience working with fraud monitoring tools, dashboards, or analytics systems
• Knowledge of transaction monitoring, fintech, mobility, or energy platforms is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
